Unique Aspects

This area in the rainforest has the only project that combines for-profit and non-profit activities in order to reach sustainability in all areas of development – economic, social, and ecological. The technical high school is recognized by the Ministry of Education as an innovative educational entity while the clinic, established by the foundation, is now run by the Ministry of Health.

Best Time to Go:

The rainforest, as its name says, is rainy! However, the rainier season is from June to September, and the warmer, less rainy season is from November to May. February to April is particularly warmer, though short showers occur.
